The Visionary Behind THE BRAND

Nicola Radano

THE BEGINNING

Nicola Radano, a passionate advocate of classical style and Neapolitan craftsmanship, founded Spacca Neapolis to bring his unique vision of elegance and tradition to the world. Raised in Naples, surrounded by the city’s rich cultural and artisanal heritage, Radano developed a deep appreciation for high-quality craftsmanship.

His first project, Spacca Neapolis, is an exclusive brand of silk ties and accessories, with patterns personally designed by Radano. Each creation is crafted from the finest silks sourced from the Como district and brought to life through the expert hands of Neapolitan artisans. Before launching Spacca Neapolis, Radano created the blog Me, Myself & I in 2013 as a personal outlet to celebrate Neapolitan craftsmanship. The blog quickly became a trusted space for sartorial enthusiasts who shared his passion for Italian tailoring and timeless elegance.Interestingly, Radano’s path to fashion was not a conventional one. He holds a degree in Health Biotechnology from the University of Naples Federico II—a background far removed from the world of craftsmanship and style.
This contrast only highlights his ability to merge technical precision with artistic creativity, bringing a distinctive flair to everything he creates.

SPACCA NEAPOLIS

In 2016, while still a student at the University of Naples Federico II, Nicola Radano launched Spacca Neapolis—a brand that doesn’t just specialize in handmade ties and accessories but transforms them into wearable works of art. What started as a passion project during his university years has grown into a global celebration of Neapolitan craftsmanship. Drawing on the rich artisanal traditions of Naples, each Spacca Neapolis piece is a tribute to timeless craftsmanship and modern flair. With ties crafted from the finest Como silk and exclusive designs sketched by Radano himself, the brand quickly set itself apart for its bold yet sophisticated take on Neapolitan elegance.

What truly makes Spacca Neapolis unique is the originality of its patterns. Each design is an exclusive creation, with no two pieces ever quite alike—an irresistible combination of tradition and innovation. This uniqueness has made Spacca Neapolis a standout not just in Italy but across the globe, with a particularly enthusiastic following in Asia. From Tokyo to Seoul, sartorial aficionados have embraced the brand’s vision, recognizing it as a fresh, contemporary expression of classic style.
With Spacca Neapolis, Nicola Radano is not just preserving a heritage—he’s reinventing it, one handcrafted tie at a time.

NR NAPOLI

After years of honing his craft and gaining valuable experience working alongside some of the most renowned names in men’s elegance, Nicola Radano decided in 2023 to embark on a new journey—one that had always been his true passion. Enter NR NAPOLI (Nicola Radano), a total look brand that fully embodies his concept of “elegance” with a modern twist. NR NAPOLI isn’t just about dressing well; it’s about a lifestyle, one that blends tradition with a playful, bold spirit.
