MARECHIARO – Beige Italian Cashwool® Cardigan

MARECHIARO, our iconic crochet inspiration reimagined for winter.

For years, we wanted to bring the distinctive texture of our signature summer crochet polo into winter knitwear. Translating its open, airy stitch into a dense wool construction required almost a year of trials and refinements. MARECHIARO is the result: a cardigan that preserves the character of the original texture in a compact, substantial knit.

Made in Italy from 100% Cashwool® wool by Zegna Baruffa, MARECHIARO is worked in gauge 8 with a particularly tight stitch. This construction gives the garment body and a richly textured surface while retaining the yarn’s remarkably soft feel.

A generous polo collar and full button fastening lend the cardigan a subtle retro character. The slightly cropped length is deliberately balanced to sit neatly with tailored trousers and allow it to be worn beneath a jacket. Ribbed cuffs and hem complete the silhouette.

In Beige, the light shade reveals the intricate stitch and emphasizes its depth. Pair it with brown corduroy, navy flannel or dark denim for a combination that brings texture to the forefront of NR NAPOLI’s Funky Elegance.
