NRP Mod. 3 – Indigo Japanese Denim Trousers

Indigo denim trousers handcrafted in Naples from Japanese cotton denim. The NRP Mod. 3 translates classic indigo denim into a tailored silhouette with two reverse pleats and a jeans-inspired closure.
Indigo denim trousers interpreted through the NRP Mod. 3, bringing the most iconic denim color into the language of Neapolitan tailoring.
Handcrafted in Naples from Japanese cotton denim, this version maintains the authentic character of indigo while moving decisively away from the construction of traditional jeans. Instead, the fabric is cut as a tailored trouser with two reverse pleats, balanced proportions and a clean leg.
The indigo tone gives the NRP Mod. 3 an immediately recognizable denim character and allows the fabric to develop naturally with wear. Subtle variations and fading will gradually become part of the garment, making each pair increasingly individual.
A jeans-inspired front closure and belt loops preserve a relaxed attitude, while the pleated construction gives the trouser greater volume, comfort and sartorial presence.
This balance makes the indigo version particularly versatile. It can replace classic jeans in everyday combinations while retaining enough refinement to work naturally with tailoring, knitwear, suede and more structured outerwear.
Made in Naples, the NRP Mod. 3 reflects NR Napoli’s approach to familiar menswear codes: taking something recognizable and shifting its proportions, construction and context.
