Handcrafted in Naples from lightweight Italian seersucker cotton, the NRP Mod. 4 Drawstring Trouser combines an elasticated drawstring waistband with a single pleat and belt loops for a refined yet relaxed silhouette. Designed for warm-weather comfort and versatility, it blends Neapolitan tailoring with effortless summer elegance.
NRP Mod. 4 Drawstring Trouser represents NR NAPOLI’s reinterpretation of the classic drawstring pant through the lens of Neapolitan tailoring.
Handcrafted in Naples, this model was developed after extensive work on the pattern to achieve a balance between relaxed comfort and sartorial structure. While drawstring trousers are traditionally associated with casualwear, the NRP Mod. 4 introduces a more refined construction that allows the garment to move naturally between informal and elegant settings.
The trousers feature an elasticated waistband with drawstring, combined with belt loops, allowing them to be worn either as relaxed lounge trousers or styled more classically with a belt. A single pleat adds structure and elegance to the front, preserving the visual language of traditional tailoring while maintaining the comfort expected from a relaxed trouser.
This version is crafted from Italian seersucker cotton, piece-dyed to create a fabric that is lightweight, breathable, and ideal for warm-weather wear. The natural texture of seersucker keeps the fabric slightly lifted from the skin, enhancing airflow and comfort during the warmer months.
The result is a trouser designed for versatility — equally suited to casual outfits with polos or knitwear, or paired with lightweight tailoring for a relaxed yet refined summer silhouette.
