Olive waxed cotton jacket inspired by vintage Greek and American military outerwear. The TARGA is handcrafted in Naples from 100% waxed cotton with a relaxed wide fit, slightly cropped length and unlined construction designed for everyday wear, light rain and motorcycle use.
Olive waxed cotton jacket interpreted through TARGA, an NR Napoli outerwear model inspired by the functional character of vintage Greek and American military jackets.
Handcrafted in Naples from 100% waxed cotton, TARGA combines military references with a relaxed contemporary silhouette. The fit is intentionally generous through the body, while the slightly cropped length keeps the proportions clean and gives the jacket a distinctive, easy character.
The Olive tone reinforces the military inspiration of the model and works naturally with denim, tailored trousers, knitwear, flannel and more casual seasonal layers.
The jacket is completely unlined, allowing the waxed cotton to remain light, flexible and easy to layer. The wax treatment gives the fabric natural resistance to wind and light rain while preserving the tactile, slightly rugged surface associated with traditional waxed outerwear.
TARGA was conceived as a functional everyday jacket rather than a formal piece of outerwear. Its proportions make it particularly suited to transitional weather, travelling and motorcycle use — a context in which Nicola Radano has personally worn this type of jacket for years.
The design brings together two different military references: the simplicity and utility of vintage Greek field jackets and the relaxed proportions of classic American military garments. Rather than reproducing either literally, NR Napoli reinterprets those references through its own approach to proportion and everyday dressing.
Over time, the waxed cotton naturally develops creases, tonal variations and marks from wear. These changes are part of the character of the fabric and allow each jacket to become increasingly personal.
Handcrafted in Naples, TARGA reflects the NR Napoli idea of Funky Elegance applied to outerwear: functional, relaxed and designed to acquire character through use.
